So sue me… May 11, 2008

No, it’s not really that I want to be sued. But the expression in English is such a demonstration (or a cry for freedom). I have been heard saying “I’m not on Facebook, so sue me.” It does become an empowering utterance. We don’t have the same expression in Spanish, and even if we did, I don’t think my parents (who are both lawyers) would appreciate me saying “yeah, feel free to sue me – since I’ve got lawyer parents and they’re going to win the case“. But there’s such a relief to saying that 🙂

And you might ask yourselves “why did he think of such random idea”? Well, I read it on Michael Yurechko’s blog (he switched from WordPress to Chyrp-Chyrp). Even though I *love* WordPress, I don’t plan to sue Michael 🙂
